No. 1: Toy Story
Toy Story 3 was great, but way too scary for many kids, our Facebook fans said. The original, however, charms young and old.
No. 2: Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory
“Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory because every child dreams of a Candy Wonderland! Plus the fun characters and songs. It’s a great choice!”
No. 3: Finding Nemo
“I ♥ Finding Nemo for lessons it teaches us as parents. We need to foster our children’s capabilities and pray that we have taught them all they need to know to go into the world and be successful.”
No. 4: Wizard of Oz
“Wizard of Oz because it just takes kids to another place, another land that is so magical and wonderful and interesting and it keeps my kids talking for days after we watch it each and every time.”
No. 5: Mary Poppins
With a sweet sensible way and a knack for magic, Mary Poppins is “practically perfect,” our Facebook fans say.
No. 6: Lady and the Tramp
Kids love animals!! And then they’re scrappy and romantic, it’s hard not to root for them over and over again.
No. 7: Up
Lots of colorful balloons and characters make this story a hit with kids, but the sentimental nuance is why parents have a sweet spot for this flick, too.
No. 8: Shrek
Some said Dragon scares little ones, but once kids get a little bit older, Shrek is a sure-fire winner.
No. 9: Peter Pan
A story about a flying boy who rules his own magical land with a sidekick fairy? C’mon! It’s got everlasting kid appeal, according to our readers.
No. 10: Curious George
“All kids love George and he’s always on an exciting adventure!”
