We don't need to tell you: Times are tight in the Mitten State. With the $4-a-gallon gas, a daylong jaunt can be out of the question, let alone a family vacation. But if you're looking for a boost, you've come to the right "spot"!

"X" marks the spot, to be precise: Give us your family's input for Metro Parent's "A to Z Guide for Michigan Summer Fun," which appears in the July edition of our print magazine, and you could win a $100 gas card! Simply e-mail us a photo of your kids - or even the entire family - living it up at one of your favorite places for summer fun in Michigan. The family who sends us the best photo will win that $100 gas card, to help offset this year's summer fun travel. E-mail entries by July 31, with the subject line "Summer Fun Picture," to jelliott@metroparent.com, or mail to Metro Parent, Summer Fun Picture Contest, 22041 Woodward Ave., MI 48220-2520.

- This corresponds to a feature article in the June 2008 edition of Metro Parent.
