Looking for a new family doctor? It’s a tough choice, we know. This person is going to have the health of your family in his or her hands, so he or she needs to be top-notch. That’s why each year, we ask our readers – local moms and dads just like you – to nominate their favorite medical professionals for our 2017 Mom-Approved Docs list. And boy, did they deliver this year!
In our July 2017 print edition, we were only able to list a portion of those doctors –which included a wide range of professionals. Of course, there are lots and lots of pediatricians. But parents also piped up about their favorite specialists, including those in the fields of allergies and asthma, chiropractic, dentistry/orthodontics, ear nose and throat, family medicine, infertility and reproductive medicine, internal medicine, neurology, OB-GYN, occupational therapy, optometry, pediatric critical care medicine, pediatric critical care medicine, pediatric endocrinology, pediatric orthopedics, pediatric physical medicine and rehabilitation, physical therapy, psychology and speech/language pathology.
Phew – that’s a lot of doctors! But it’s far from the full picture.
