Birmingham Village Fair

Shain Park will once again host the Birmingham Village Fair! The fair welcomes visitors to downtown Birmingham for carnival rides, games, food and more, May 28-31, 2015.

Experience all that downtown Birmingham has to offer – including specialty shops and restaurants – and walk around for tons of free family fun.

Kids want to hop on all the rides? You can purchase ride wristbands in advance for a discounted price of $15 at the following Birmingham locations:

  • Birmingham Bloomfield Chamber: 725 S. Adams Road, Suite 130 (open 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday)
  • Birmingham Bloomfield Credit Union: 576 E. Lincoln (open 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Friday)
  • Vibe Credit Union: 163 W. Maple Road (open 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday-Friday, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday)

Pre-sale wristbands are available until 5 p.m. on Wednesday, May 27. You can also order your wristbands online. Purchase them at the fair for $20.

The Community House will be opening the outdoor Van Dusen Terrace for drinks (adult-friendly!) and barbecue. They are also offering a 10 percent discount on all food purchases made at their related outdoor barbecues, the event press release notes.

The fair gives visitors the chance to give back to the community, too. The annual event benefits 20 local nonprofit organizations.

Event times are as follows:

  • Thursday: noon-10 p.m.
  • Friday: noon-11 p.m.
  • Saturday: 11 a.m.-11 p.m.
  • Sunday: noon-9 p.m.

Admission is free.
