Dress up in costume and join the library for some Halloween stories, a trick-or-treat parade and a short Halloween movie. For children in 6th grade and younger. No strollers or wagons allowed. Five animal friends – monkey, python, parrot, elephant and turtle – solve early childhood issues during this puppet performance. Event cost: $10/child, $15/adult Event time: 3 p.m.

Enjoy harvest-themed activities for the whole family. Tour the farm, visit the animals, view traditional demonstrations and be entertained by Rosco the Clown. Event cost: Free

This 34th annual offers farm animals, hay and pony rides, live music and inflatables for kids. Event cost: Free
Enjoy a local color tour on a hayride and head to the farm to stroll with one of their farmers on an official animal tour. The campfire will be warm and ready for roasting marshmallows and making s'mores. Animal tours are at 1 p.m., 2 p.m. and 3 p.m....

Celebrate the little black and yellow bugs and all they do for their environments with beekeeper talks, music, crafts, demos, vendors and more. You’ll even learn how to maintain a bee-friendly garden and take part in beeswax candle making. Event cost: Free Event time: 10 a.m.-3p.m. Aug. 20
Walkers will meet at McHattie Park to begin the walk. They will head west along the Huron Valley Rail Trail, south to Nine Mile Road, east to Lafayette and then return to McHattie Park. Strollers and wagons are allowed. Registration required. Event cost: Free Event time: 9 a.m. Sept. 5, 2022
