Kidopolis in Ann Arbor Offers Eco-Friendly Fun

Kids are naturally creative. Pair that with a playspace featuring themed rooms full of uniquely reused items, and you have the recipe for imaginative fun.

Kidopolis in Ann Arbor, which recently celebrated its first birthday, offers a drop-in play environment ideal for ages 2-11. Kids can explore a “village” including an enchanted forest, police station, fire station, nautical room and more – plus plenty of costumes. Each room has eco-friendly and recycled things; the vintage payphone and other repurposed items are a big hit.

“They still have fun interacting with it,” says owner Jessica Ramos. “It’s kind of like giving it a last chance, see if you can create something.”
