Local Elementary Schools Draw Pictures of Their Favorite Detroit Lions Players or Coach

Metro Detroit students share Lions-inspired art for Metro Parent’s National Pizza Week contest. Check out the winning drawings and their Detroit pride!

The Detroit Lions had an amazing season and even though it’s now over, we’re still excited to still show our pride.

Last week, we ran a drawing contest with students at Walt Disney Elementary in Clinton Township and Most Holy Trinity Catholic Academy in Corktown. Students were asked to draw their favorite Lions player or coach and enter to win a pizza party for their class – since last week was also National Pizza Week.

Kids couldn’t help but catch Lions fever this season, and it showed in every crayon stroke and marker swirl. There were so many amazing drawings and it was a very hard decision to choose a winner. These are the two winners’ drawings:

Detroit Lions Drawing Contest Winner
Winner from Most Holy Trinity Catholic Academy

Detroit Lions Drawing Contest Winner
Winner from Walt Disney Elementary School

We loved seeing the students show their Detroit pride and wanted to show off other entries, as well.

Thank you to all the metro Detroit students who submitted their work. We cannot wait to see what the Lions do next season!
