Winter is here – so it’s time to bundle up and head outdoors for some snow-covered adventures. And there’s plenty of Macomb County winter fun to be had for families in southeast Michigan.

Indoor fun

Kids can enjoy laser tag at Revolution Laser Tag & Arcade in Clinton Township, or stop by Dave & Busters in Utica for arcade-style games and fun.

Lake St. Clair Metropark in Harrison Township and Stony Creek Metropark in Shelby Township feature nature centers that host interpretive programs for families all year round – including some that stay put within a toasty-war building.

Youth play centers such as Detroit Kid City in Clinton Township, Pump It Up in Shelby Township and Extreme Fun in Roseville are also great spots for kids to blow off some steam indoors.

Heritage Holidays at Wolcott Mill Metropark Historic Center

A Sterling Christmas at Dodge Park

Ring in the holidays with a tree lighting ceremony, music, visits with Santa, horse-drawn wagon rides, live animals, ice skating and more.

Mount Clemens Jingle Journey

Warren’s Cold Rush at Warren City Square

Mount Clemens Ice Carving Show

Utica Ice Festival

Aqua Freeze Fest at Blossom Heath Park
