Super Stadium Baseball Game

Batter up! America’s favorite pastime now fits in your living room (safely) with the Super Stadium Baseball Game from International Playthings.

With the Detroit Tigers’ Opening Day just around the corner, this tabletop playing field offers a taste of real baseball action – no tickets required.

Whether you’ll be sitting in those Comerica Park stadium seats this Thursday, April 5, or not, gear up for baseball season and get your “Steeeerike one!” ready for the big day.

At about 17 inches wide, this diminutive diamond offers Major League fun for rookies as well as pros. Players take control, customizing fielders’ positions just like in full-sized ball. They can even choose whether the batter swings left- or right-handed.

Pull the pitching lever to launch a ball at the spring-loaded batter. Dual pitching controls allow players to “throw” fastballs, curve balls and screwballs – a magnetized infield creates ball movement. The batter fires back with controls that adjust for singles, double, triples, foul balls and home runs.

Young players can improve hand-eye coordination as they learn to time pitches and hits just right, striving for that elusive home run. Run, strike and ball counters make keeping score a cinch, and movable base runners rotate around the board for an authentic feel. And best of all, no batteries are needed for this two-player game.

The game includes small parts, so it’s recommended for ages 6-plus. Instructions and a score sheet are included.

The Super Stadium Baseball Game retails for $39.99 (Amazon has it for a few bucks less).
