How does Metro Parent find the kids that appear on our magazine covers every year? The answer is our annual CoverKids Search! And, if your child is ready for his or her close-up, you’ve come to the right spot for the CoverKids Search 2020.
Our quest to discover southeast Michigan kids ages 2-12 who are adorable and full of personality has kicked off! And it ends promptly at 11:59 p.m. Tuesday, March 31, 2020. You have just two months to enter. So don’t delay!
3 key things about CoverKids
First and foremost, get a great, clear photo of your child – one where we can see his or her face. Avoid makeup, costumes, sunglasses, hoods or bulky coats; we want to see your kiddo’s natural cuteness!
Second, create a Submittable account. It’s easy: All you need to do is click the green button above or below to create an account to formally enter the search. (Bonus: If you already created an account last year, you can use it again!) That page also has more detailed information about the contest.
And, finally, remember that Metro Parent is a local magazine in southeast Michigan (we serve metro Detroit and the greater Ann Arbor areas). So we do give preference to kids who live in our readership area.
