Meet Caleb and Matthew, Metro Parent December 2013 CoverKids – VIDEO

We assure you: We did not need to pose energetic siblings Caleb and Matthew, both 4, of Dearborn, for their big photo shoot for the December 2013 issue of Metro Parent. These twin brothers, who perfectly capture that pumped-up excitement of Christmas morning, were all tumbles, laughs and huge smiles – a pretty spot-on complement to our 2013 Holiday “It” List Gift Guide, jam-packed with 37 awesome toys and unique gifts sure to get any kid geared up.

In the process, we caught up (sort of!) with Caleb (in green) and Matthew (wearing red) and, amid their rambunctious antics and squeals, we found out these kids are, like, experts on ships – rattling off factoids about the Britannic and Lusitania and, for good measure, details about hydrogen (y’know, kid stuff!). Check out their face-slapping, topsy-turvy adventures in this video:

Be sure to meet all of our CoverKids winners for 2013, including the readers who were announced in September 2013 and will be appearing on our magazine covers into early 2014.

Interested in your kid being on the cover of Metro Parent magazine? Check out the Metro Parent CoverKids page. As information about our 2014 event emerges (for contenders for our 2014-15 covers), this is where you’ll find it (give us a few months; it’s in the works!). Natural self-confidence, poise and personality are what it takes – as you can see with Caleb and Matthew. We hope you’ll get your kids involved with the next CoverKids. You never know: They might wind up in the spotlight, too.
