Mommy & Me Looks to Try on Mother’s Day

Adorable looks to try for Mother’s Day.

Whether you’re staying at home with your loved ones or going out for an outdoor brunch, celebrate motherhood in style. How fun is it to do twinning or outfit coordinating with our babes! Well, at least while they’re still little or maybe start doing mommy and me outfits for Mother’s Day as a tradition.

I bet it is something our children will always remember, plus you’re not just a regular mom but a cool mom! Kidding aside, Do you mama. What’s more important is our relationship with our kids and the bonding we have with them. That’s the most essential.

I want to share some mommy and me outfit ideas that you and your babes can rock this spring and summer.

These mommy-and-me looks are not super matchy-matchy ones. Although they are so adorable but practically speaking, it’s not always accessible all the time. Sometimes you just have to get creative, coordinate the colors and style.

Shop in your closet and find something that would go with your little one’s outfit or vice versa. The key is for both outfits to look soothing for the eyes and the colors don’t clash.

1. Elevated Casual

Jeans are a go-to for casual wear. It’s a staple outfit that would pretty much go with anything, either dress up or down. For this elevated look, dress up your jeans with a flowy top for you and a peasant top for your babe. The dominant pink blush color in these coordinating outfits exudes feminine vibes.

2. Dressy Sunday Brunch

I love Sunday brunch – it’s my favorite – and I also love to take that opportunity to dress up a little. There’s something so refreshing looking more elevated for Sunday brunch.

We don’t need to go all out but putting on an elegant and stylish outfit is ideal. In this look, I’m wearing a bright coral dress while my daughter is wearing a jumpsuit that color coordinates my outfit. The bright and feminine colors are perfect for springtime.

3. Everyday Casual

I am currently obsessed with ruffle sleeves tops and mom jeans that have been trending right now. It could go either with heels or sneakers. In this look, we thought twinning with our white tops and sneakers would always be a good idea. A white top is a must-have in our closets, it’s a perfect canvas that’s easy to style and easy to coordinate with our littles.

Bonus Look: Wedding Guest

With the pandemic that has been going on, a lot of us rarely get wedding invitations and some of them are being cancelled. But there are private weddings among close friends and family only, being held outdoors while practicing social distancing and wearing their masks.

For this outfit idea, I suggest a lace dress for you and an embroidered organza dress for your little one that would complement yours. I love the rise of romantic vintage styles these days. I think it’s such a classic look, it would look stunning in the pictures for years to come, and the pastel colors are soothing for the eyes. Pair it with the right shoes and accessories, you are good to go.
