  • What you’ll find: This outdoor shopping complex features a mix of unique boutiques, artisan shops and delicious eateries. Kids will love exploring the colorful storefronts and enjoying treats like homemade fudge or ice cream. The area often hosts seasonal events, including craft fairs and holiday celebrations.
  • What families say: “Lots to do for a family of 5 with kids under ten. The Blacksmith experience was amazing. The Thunder Bay Mining experience (at the same place you buy river boat experience) was a highlight. Bubble tea and Snow Ice at Pasty Haus was delicious.   • Pro tip: The whole area is walkable and convenient. Cross the bridge and see little Bavaria, just a one-minute walk away!

  • What you’ll find: With its warm temperatures year-round, Zehnder’s Splash Village offers thrilling water slides, a lazy river and a kiddie pool designed for younger children. Parents can relax in the hot tubs while the kids enjoy the water attractions.

  • What families say: “This is an amazing store with literally something for everyone. So much cheese and things that go with cheese from kitchen gadgets, wine, cutting boards, etc. The chocolate cheese was Delicious, definitely recommend. Anytime you are in Frankenmuth, you need to stop at the Cheese Haus! Don’t forget to get your picture with Klaus, the mouse statue in front of the store.” – Martha K
