Labor Day and Early Fall Festivals in Macomb County in 2025

Pack a bit more fun into the end of summer at one of these Labor Day weekend, late summer and early fall events in Macomb County.

Summer 2025 sure did fly right on by, and the school bus is on its way to whisk our kids off to another exciting school year.

But don’t count summer out just yet. There are still plenty of family fun to be had before the homework, extracurriculars and parent-teacher conferences fully kick back in, and the long Labor Day weekend is primetime to squeeze it in — and those first few weekends of September, too.

This almost-fall season, Macomb County is offering tons of family activities for you and your family to enjoy. Here, you’ll find a list of larger festivals and art fairs happening this Labor Day Weekend along with info on other events happening later this summer and into early fall.

Blake’s Sunflower Festival at Blake’s Orchard & Cider Mill

Aug. 22-24, 30-31 and Sept. 1, 2025

  • Address: 17985 Armada Center Road, Armada
  • Cost: $10/early bird discount ticket, $12/Friday ticket, $14/Saturday or Sunday ticket, free/ages 2 and under; free/parking

Shop from over 100 artisans, u-pick sunflowers, a children’s tent with lots of activities, DIY make and take workshops and more. The children’s activity tent offers crafts, face painting, animal shows and more.

Romeo Peach Festival 

Aug. 28-Sept. 1, 2025

  • Address: Downtown Romeo area
  • Cost: Free/admission, fees/vary by attraction

This annual summertime fest offers a ride midway, carnival games, crafts, a car show, a parade and plenty of sweet peach treats.

Summer Sounds at The Mall at Partridge Creek

Aug. 29-Sept. 1, 2025

  • Address: 17420 Hall Road, Clinton Township
  • Cost: Free

These weekend shows feature nearly 50 local artists. Make sure to bring a folding camp chair or low-to-the-ground chair, since seating is limited. Aug. 29 is Sonic Freeway. Aug. 30 is D-Street, Aug. 31 is Phil May Duo and Sept. 1 is The Pulse.

New Baltimore Art on the Bay at Walter & Mary Burke Park

Aug. 30-31, 2025

  • Address: 36300 Front St., New Baltimore
  • Cost: Free

This annual art show features paintings, drawings, sculptures, candles and other crafts on display and for sale along with food vendors, music and more.

Richmond Good Old Days Festival

Sept. 4-7, 2025

  • Address: 69500 Beebe St., Richmond
  • Cost: Free

You’ll get the hometown fair experience at this fest, which features carnival games and rides, motor sports, parade, fireworks and more.

Classic Cruise In On The Bay at Walter & Mary Burke Park

Sept. 6, 2025

  • Address: 6300 Front St., New Baltimore
  • Cost: Free admission

Enjoy a premier car show along the beautiful shores of Lake St. Clair. See a classic car showcase, awards presentation, food, drinks, live music, raffles and prizes.

Metro Boat Show at Lake St. Clair Metropark

Sept. 11-14, 2025

  • Address: 31300 Metro Parkway, Harrison Township
  • Cost: $10/adults, free/ages 12 and under (with an adult)

Check out the boats, live music, kids zone, lawn games and more. Kid’s zone has crafts, water fun and bounce houses.

Festival of the Senses at Clinton Township Civic Center

Sept. 20-21, 2025

  • Address: 40700 Romeo Plank Road, Clinton Township
  • Cost: Free 

This annual fest celebrates all mediums and specialty food vendors as well as live performances by local talent.

Jammin’ at the Junction Car Show

 Sept. 27, 2025

  • Address: Downtown Roseville, 28760 Utica Road, Roseville
  • Cost: Free entry for spectators

Utica Road closes from Gratiot to 12 Mile for vendors, food trucks, music, car displays and more.

Armada Fair

Aug. 11-17, 2025

  • Address: Armada Fairgrounds, 74280 Fair St., Armada
  • Cost: $25/VIP adult ticket for Uncle Kracker, $20/VIP child ticket for Uncle Kracker, $10/ages 13-plus, $5/ages 10-12, free/ages 9 and under; $5/daily parking, $25/weekly parking (cash only for parking)

This old-school fair offers everything from carnival rides and games to livestock displays, demolition derby, tractor and truck pulls, rodeo, monster trucks and much more. This year will also feature a performance by Uncle Kracker.

Assumption Greek Festival

Aug. 15-17, 2025

  • Address: Assumption Greek Orthodox Church, 21800 Marter Road, St. Clair Shores
  • Cost: $3, free/ages 11 and under

Celebrate Greek culture through food, music and dancing at this annual festival. There are special activities for the kids, too!

Warren Birthday Bash 2025

Aug. 21-23, 2025

  • Address: Warren City Square, 1 City Square, Warren
  • Cost: Free/admission, fees/rides

Families can enjoy a carnival, food trucks, fireworks, live music, drone show, Polish parade and more at this annual.
