Celebrate 313 Day with These Kid-Friendly Detroit Activities

March 13 is Detroit Day and it is celebrated throughout the city.

There is a lot to celebrate in the month of March including Women’s History Month, St. Patrick’s Day, Maple Sugaring events and 313 Day!

313 Day (named after Detroit’s area code) takes place on March 13 and is the celebration of all things Detroit.

Me and my son, Jordan love spending time in downtown Detroit. We enjoy going to family theater shows, seeing the Red Wings play at Little Caesars Arena, grabbing a seasonal Biggie Shake and Onion Ring tower at JoJos ShakeBAR and exploring the many wonderful museums. We always seem to find something fun to do while we’re in Detroit!

Be sure to check out our ideas (and maybe find some of your own) to celebrate 313 Day with your kids this year!
