Aga-Boom at Macomb Center for the Performing Arts

Like your Barnum and Bailey with a side of Moe, Curly and Larry? Well, mark your calendar for Saturday, Feb. 4, 2012. That's when Aga-Boom visits the Macomb Center for the Performing Arts – a circus arts/slapstick comedy hybrid show that’s known worldwide for its zany antics. Their masterly clowning is sure to brighten up the dreary winter weather for parents and kids alike!

This high-energy, interactive show features three performers from Cirque du Soleil’s Alegria in 75 minutes of physical skits with a twist of circus theatrics – such as stilt walking and juggling – sprinkled in.

Aga-Boom, created by Cirque du Soleil veteran Dimitri Bogatirev, has been performed in cities across the United States, including Broadway and Las Vegas, as well as in countries like Japan, Mexico and Russia, to name just a few. The show describes itself as "pure family fun" and "like nothing you have ever seen before."

Discover the spectacle for yourself at one of two shows – at 2 and 7 p.m. Tickets are $42-$52 for adults and $20 for students, and can be purchased online, by phone or at the Macomb Center box office.
