Art & Orchard Festival in Washington Township

It’s the annual Art & Orchard Festival in Washington Township, returning June 12-14, 2015.

This festival delivers summer-style fun for families in and around Macomb County. Kids can join in on the backyard games, a carnival and a kid-to-kid sale (June 13) – and everyone can check out a flea market, art displays, plant sales, museum tours and more. Don’t forget the big fireworks display at dusk on Saturday!

Swing by on Saturday for your pick of 5K, 10K or 15K race ($25-$30), and take a trip back on Sunday for the Dirty Ladle Chili Cook-off, hosted by the Washington Township Firefighters.

You’ll also find a variety of artwork on display, a beer tent packed with some of your favorite brews, live entertainment and more. There’s even a tri-county garage sale, which is packed full of gently used household and children’s items. Stop by to see what treasures you can find.

Festival admission is free, and additional charges vary by event. Times also vary, with earliest attractions kicking off at 7 a.m. Friday, 8 a.m. Saturday and 7:30 a.m. Sunday.
