Summer Sounds at The Mall at Partridge Creek

July 1-2, 7-9, 14-16, 21-23, 28-30, 2023

These weekend shows feature nearly 40 local artists. Make sure to bring a folding camp chair or low to the ground chair since seating is limited.

Sunday Night Concert Series at Lake St. Clair Metropark

July 2, 9, 16, 23, 30, 2023

Kick back every Sunday evening and listen to cool tunes played live in the park. Musicians range from big band to soul to everything in between. July 2 is Persuasion, July 9 is Taylor Tucky, July 16 is Gridiron & Friends, July 23 is 3rd Degree Burns and July 30 is The Bug Beddow & The Good Stuff.

Symphony by the Shores at Lake St. Clair Metropark 

July 4, 11, 18, 2023

Bring blankets, chairs and even a picnic to enjoy while listening to the beautiful sounds of the symphony. Concerts will be held at Thomas Welsh Activity Center. For all ages. July 4 is Brass Quintet, July 11 is Jazz Quartet and July 18 is Dixieland Band.

Clinton Township Fireworks

Families can enjoy inflatables, face painting, food vendors and live musical performances during the day and a firework show at dusk.

Summer Concert Series at Stony Creek Metropark

Enjoy the music of metro Detroit bands on Eastwood Beach. For all ages. July 7 is Stone Blossoms and July 21 is Persuasion.

Library Outdoor Movie Nights at Chesterfield Parks and Recreation Department

Watch a family-friendly film in the community center backyard. Bring your own chairs. July 11 is Encanto, July 18 is Onward and July 25 is Vivo.

Music and Movies in the Park at the Civic Center

July 12, 19, 26, 2023

Enjoy pre-show activities like backyard games, food trucks and inflatables. Then, enjoy music and a movie afterward. July 12 features Interstate 90s and Lightyear. July 19 is Weekend Comeback and The Bad Guys. July 26 is Collision Six and Minions: The Rise of Gru.

Music in the Park at Macomb Corners

July 13, 20, 27, 2023

Come for live music, inflatables, games and more at the summertime event at Macomb Corners Park. July 13 is Katmandu, July 20 is Phoenix Theory and July 27 is Magic Bus.

Blake’s Lavender Festival at Blake’s Orchard & Cider Mill

July 14-16, 2023

Stroll through the fields of lavender, shop at the artisan market and enjoy lavender-inspired treats at this fest. There will be free classes, speakers, demos and workshops.

Festa Italiana at Freedom Hill County Park

July 14-16, 2023

The family fun zone at this Italian cultural fest features fireworks, a petting zoo, bounce houses and a rock-climbing wall.

New Haven Red Hot & Blue Festival at New Haven High School

Enjoy food and tons of fun for all ages. There will also be live music from Killer Vibe and fireworks.

Movies in the Park at Walter and Mary Burke Park

July 27, 2023

Families can enjoy a story and a movie in the park, brought to you by MacDonald Public Library. Concessions and a food truck will be on site to purchase.

Sterlingfest at the Sterling Heights City Center

July 27-29, 2023

Families can check out art on display, get their fill of tasty fair food and spin, swing and slide on carnival rides.

Grace on the Lake Music Festival at Lake St. Clair Metropark 

July 29, 2023

Join for a family-friendly day of music, food, fun and fellowship at Lake St Clair Metropark in Harrison Township. There will be a kids zone, bounce houses, food trucks and vendors.

Trilobite Treasures: Arthropods of the Ancient Seas at Cranbrook Institute of Science

Salute to America: Summer Stroll at Greenfield Village
