For decades, the Livonia Spree has been one of the top things to do in Livonia (some might argue one of the highlights of the summer!), and each year it brings a whole lot of family fun to this Wayne County city.
This summer, the event celebrates its 69th birthday, and you and yours can join the fun June 25-30, 2019 at Ford Field in Livonia.
Kids will find a spree and carnival featuring rides that zip, whirl and thrill, open every day of the event. The spree grounds will play host to different entertainment at various times each day, including clowns and characters, Hot Dog Pig Races, a classic car show, petting farm and more.
Each day of the Livonia Spree will bring music, too. Musicians like 50 Amp Fuse, Killer Flamingoes and more will rock and roll on the main stage. Sunday at 8:30 and 11 a.m., guests are welcome to attend two worship services, as well.
And of course, you can’t forget the grand finale fireworks display. Enjoy 30 minutes of pops, fizzles and bangs to close out the event on Sunday at dusk.
Livonia Spree hours are as follows:
- Tuesday: 4-11 p.m.
- Wednesday-Friday: 2-11 p.m.
- Saturday-Sunday: noon-11 p.m.
Entry to the Livonia Spree is free, but all-day ride bracelets will cost a fee. Expect additional costs for food and select events.
