Metro Detroit Teacher Makes Handcrafted Cards

Move over, Hallmark. Ray Township crafter and first-grade substitute teacher Gina Fionda, 24, has a handcrafted card for any occasion.

Her business, Timeless Treasures by Gina, launched with a love of scrapbooking in 2012. “It started with me being creative,” she says – the same “let’s try this!” approach she brings to her little pupils in Romeo.

Each card is embellished to create a one-of-a-kind, 3-D greeting – and can be customized to fit practically any name or occasion, from new baby to wine themed.

“Each card is an original piece of art created by the artist with love,” she says. “I just want to put them in more people’s homes and hands.”
