Motown heads back home to The D. Families, head out for a night of music-filled fun as Motown The Musical hits the stage at the Fisher Theatre in Detroit, Oct. 21-Nov. 16, 2014.
This record-breaking Broadway musical follows the true story of Motown founder Berry Gordy's journey from life as a featherweight boxer to a famous music mogul.
Showgoers will experience the rise of Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, The Temptations and so many other talented performers.
This show features more than 40 classic songs like "My Girl," "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" and more, along with the history of the genre accompanied by some great dance numbers.
Motown The Musical has a running time of 2 hours and 45 minutes. Times are as follows:
- Tuesday-Friday: 8 p.m.
- Saturday: 2 and 8 p.m.
- Sunday: 2 and 7:30 p.m.
Tickets are on sale now through The Fisher Theatre box office and are $39-$95. Kids under 5 years old will not be admitted.
