Museum Mystery Tours at the Detroit Institute of Arts

Museums are filled with remnants of the past. But have you ever wondered if they're actually crawling with spirits? Well, for three days during the Museum Mystery Tours, the Detroit Institute of Arts will indeed be a haunted retreat for kids ages 5 and up!

Families are welcome to take part in these guided tours, where eerie sights and sounds take over the American, European and contemporary art galleries. Follow the route on the printed map you'll be in for some cool discoveries.

The tours are free with museum admission, which is $8 for adults, $4 for kids ages 6-17 and free for kids 5 and under. Tours take place 1-4:20 p.m., with the exception of Friday, which runs 6-9:30 p.m.

See the Metro Parent listing for more on Museum Mystery Tours at the Detroit Institute of Arts.
