Tooth Pick-Up Slip Project with Free Printable

I love it when my favorite bloggers create a free printable goody for me to use in my gift giving, for craft projects – or simply to enjoy. I loved the tooth fairy pouch we featured in last week’s Make It roundup so much that I’ve had visions of tooth fairies on the brain ever since! That got me thinking …

This week’s project is a play on a hotel dry cleaning slip. If you’ve got some wiggly teeth in your home but don’t have a tooth fairy pillow and don’t want to put it under your pillow, you’ll need a tooth pick-up slip. Simply print out the tags we’ve already created, by clicking the image below:

Then, have your child fill it out. If she needs help, act as a “stenographer!” Once the form is all filled out, slip the tooth into a glassine envelope, like this one I found at Paper Source in Birmingham. Punch a hole in the bag and the slip and feed a piece of ribbon through both. Knot at one end and hang on the child’s door. Slip the money, or another goody, from the Tooth Fairy back into the glassine envelope and hang on the door for the morning.

If you’re not one to save the tooth, save the slip instead for scrapbooking.
