Hello Kitty Cafe Truck returns to metro Detroit this weekend

The Hello Kitty Cafe Truck is stopping at Twelve Oaks Mall in Novi this Saturday with exclusive 10th anniversary treats and collectibles.

The Hello Kitty Cafe Truck is rolling back into Novi on Saturday, Oct. 25, 2025, with a full day of treats and exclusive merchandise for families at Twelve Oaks Mall, 27500 Novi Road.

The bright pink truck is celebrating both Hello Kitty’s 50th anniversary and its own 10th, offering limited-edition sweets and collectibles. Families can stop by near the food court entrance from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. to join the fun before it heads to Louisville next week.

This year’s tour marks two milestones — Hello Kitty’s 50th anniversary and the truck’s 10th anniversary. To celebrate, visitors will find new 10th anniversary items like keychains, mugs, thermal bottles, tumblers, T-shirts, blankets, sweatshirts and Hello Kitty Cafe plush toys.

The truck will also offer special-edition sweets, including giant cookies, five-piece macaron sets and madeleine cookies. Everything is packaged in the brand’s signature pastel style that longtime fans will recognize instantly.

What parents should know before going

The Hello Kitty Cafe Truck accepts only credit and debit card payments, so families should plan ahead — no cash will be accepted.

Lines can form early at tour stops, especially when limited-edition items are available, so it’s best to arrive closer to the morning.

Since debuting in 2014, the truck has visited more than 100 cities across the country, drawing crowds of fans eager to take photos, grab a treat and pick up collectibles.
