Allergen-Free and Flavor-Packed Food Flavorings by Cheeky Spices

This new company by an Ann Arbor mom offers flavorings that are free of allergens and are easy on the tummy. Learn more about Cheeky Spices, here.

After being diagnosed with IBS and feeling underwhelmed by the tastes available that wouldn’t hurt her tummy — or those of kids and adults with food allergies —Ann Arbor mom of two Rita Shelley decided to do something about it.

She created a new company focused on giving families easy ways to bring flavor back to the dinner table: Cheeky Spices. Made in Michigan with quality ingredients in a facility free of nuts, dairy, gluten or alliums, her spices include Lady Liberty (American fusion/TexMex), The Silk Road (Asian fusion) and The Herbalist (savory herbs). $8 per bag.

Find Cheeky Spices online and a growing number of local retail stores.
