The Wiggles Taking Off Tour at Fox Theatre in Detroit

Hello, Emma Watkins! This redheaded, yellow-wearing gal has the honor of being the first-ever female member of The Wiggles – and you and your tykes get first crack at seeing her with the guys and their cast of characters when The Wiggles Taking Off! Live in Concert visits Fox Theatre in Detroit on Sunday, Sept. 22, 2013.

She's one of three new cast members who's shaking up The Wiggles' 21-year (has it been that long?!) line-up. This fresh crew of lovable characters can't wait to entertain, dance and giggle with your kids on this local leg of their 35-city tour.

Keep an eye out for your old favorites, too, like Dorothy the Dinosaur. Also along for the ride are Wags the Dog, Henry the Octopus and Captain Feathersword. Besides Watkins, aka Yellow Wiggle, there's a new Red Wiggle and Purple Wiggle.

As always, The Wiggles are all about getting your kid up off the couch and on their feet to dance, sing and learn about making healthy choices in the world around them. Inspire your tyke by bringing them to participate in their favorite show live with the cast. It's a great "first concert" experience!

On the home front, don't forget to catch the Wiggles' latest series, Ready, Steady, Wiggle! which plays on Sprout TV.

The show starts at 2:30 p.m., and tickets prices begin at $25. For more information about The Wiggles Taking Off! Live in Concert visits Fox Theatre in Detroit check out the Metro Parent listing.
