Try something new with your family this summer such as an outdoor miniature golf course, Cranbrook on the Green, at Cranbrook Art Museum. The course is next to the Knoll Walkway and Triton Pool.
Not only will you be able to play golf outside, but all visitors will receive free admission to Cranbrook Art Museum’s indoor galleries.

Tickets can be purchased ahead of time online or on-site. They are non-refundable.
Tips for families when visiting Cranbrook on the Green
- The course takes around 45 minutes to one hour to complete.
- Ages 15 and under must be accompanied by an adult to play. Adults do not have to purchase tickets though if they’re not playing.
- Stay on the golf turf and off the builds and structures at each hole. Also, be mindful of your surroundings and other players on the course.
- Standard strollers are welcome, but stroller access may be difficult on the soft/difficult terrain. You may also leave your stroller near the Cranbrook on the Green Golf Cart.
- Outside food and beverages are permitted. If you need to purchase food and beverages while you’re there, check out Fika Café, which will be open during museum hours.
- From 4:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday evenings, there will be a beer and wine cash bar for those 21-plus.
- Photography is allowed on small personal cameras and mobile phones. Tripods are not allowed, however.

Celebrate the summer solstice with music by Jared Talaga and David Hurley, sun-themed artmaking on the Peristyle and in the ArtLab, a dance party DJ’ed by Nervous Recs, food trucks, special treats at FIKA Café and more.
Family Day (July 20)
Family Day takes place on the third Saturday and themes change monthly. Explore the galleries through guided activities and get your hands messy with educators in the Art Lab.
